Re Chassis 93 NK.

Further tests with steering. Uneven pressures in tyres - N.S.F. 60 lbs. O.S.F. 25 lbs. Wheels approximately 1/4 lb. out of balance.

On smooth roads at high speeds there is a slight tendency to wobble at 60, 65 and 68 m.p.h. These wobbles do not build up. They are continually coming and going. On moderate rough roads, the wobbles are more pronounced, but are not at all severe. The periods are 64, 66 and 68 m.p.h. We do not consider that on this test the wobbles are as severe as with tyre pressures at 40 lbs. (equal). Also, the periods of wobbles are less. We consider the steering is not quite so heavy as it is when we have 40 lbs. equal pressure. This is at moderate and high speeds. At low speeds, we consider the steering heavier.
