LARGE S.U. CARBURETTER FOR THE PHANTOM II.

y487

We have received a print from the S.U. Co. of a carburetter they are making for us which is the right size for a single carburetter on the 40/50. We are anxious to try this carburetter on pipe E.81673 inverted and the attached sketch V.1226 shows a possible induction pipe for it. The difficulty is to get the carburetter under the bonnet and at the same time to have sufficient room between the bonnet and the air intake to get any sort of air silencer.

We should be obliged if you would make up a bend something on these lines for us and if necessary altering it to improve ease of manufacture.
