Re. "Vulture".

We have gone over the question of when we shall have the "Vulture" chassis ready and our programme is to complete this before Christmas.

When I was in London yesterday Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} raised the point of whether the body was actually on order. I told him that I thought it was. I have since had a note from him in which he states that he has made enquiries and found that no body is on order and he doubts whether we shall get one completed by Christmas. We should be very grateful if you will look into this, and at the same time you might let Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} know when you expect to have the body completed.

It would appear from the correspondence received that you have been able to fix up with E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} the final dimensions as regards/steering.
