Clarifying how to procure 7' Palmer tyres for experiments on steering wobble.

We have received the correspondence you forwarded to us on the above together with your instructions that experiments should be proceeded with, and we note that Mr Royce uses the expression that this should be dealt with "by letting the Works have a pair of Palmer tyres to experiment with". As a matter of fact we have no 7" Palmer tyres or suitable wheels here that we can use, and we were not certain whether Mr Royce's remarks meant that Sales had some which they could loan us or whether it meant that we should purchase a pair of tyres and wheels for this experiment. We shall be glad if you will kindly confirm if we are to adopt the latter course. Mcr. | ||
