For the attention of Mr. Martin-Hurst.

Dear Sir,

We thank you for calling at our Works on Wednesday last, as it enabled us to settle several doubtful points.

Carburetter Mixture Control.

We are arranging for a set of parts suitable for the largest thermometer unit to be produced and despatched to you. We shall expect you to build this unit with the most satisfactory size of bellows to give the operation we require. Obviously the less room the unit occupies the better.

Packless Gland for Water Pump.

We have arranged for No. 13 bellows to be used, which appears to be quite a good example of a flexible bellows from your list. We attach a drawing of the bellows unit and an arrangement drawing of the pump.

By-Pass Thermostat.

We are looking into the design of the above and hope to be able to produce one which will have less causes for inconsistency.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
