COACHWORK FOR RR. CARS. X. 8830

It is quite a mistake to suppose that I ordered
any coachwork for RR. cars. If I had done so, I should expect
to pay the bill.

You will remember I have said all along that we
as a Company should have a very light saloon body of a std.
design to offer to buyers of 20 HP. RR. cars., something that
would compete with the Weymann in weight, absence of top-
heaviness, and silence.

This is the type of car that I should like to have
at WW. for general utility purposes. I say this to shew you
that my requirements are the requirements of a large number of
reasonable people.

At the same time if I were wealthy, I should like
a really high speed open Phantom as my other car, for fine
weather work, in the same way that Mr. Arthur Gibbs uses his
grey Phantom. The open Phantom would have windscreen pro-
tection for both front and rear passengers.
