Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}/Mcr23/L11214. -2- "the Edison Cells, and it is absolutely necessary "that they should remain in these trays which "can be put in a wooden box if necessary." "We cannot give any guarantee of the "duration of the containers with the mode of "assembling you have adopted in this case." The above was referred to Mr Haldenby and he was of the opinion that in future all battery boxes used by us for these cells should be made in accordance with the Edison Co's ideas, because he thought their statements appeared to be quite correct and Mr "adin instructed accordingly. In view of the above it is possible that this has caused us to get an unnecessarily adverse opinion of these cells. When we instructed the replacements for the 2 cells that Wilson complained of we requested him to fit two strips of wood under the batteries so as to raise them off the bottom of the box a little. We thought this information should be conveyed to Mr Royce. p. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} R.R. 235a (V.V. 303, 5-1-14) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 0252 | ||
