N. Sch.4268 herewith shows modifications to the servo and speedometer drive, to reduce the speed of the servo in accordance with our Hdy.{William Hardy}1/HP.8.11.34. The servo gears are 2/21 and the speedometer gears 22/9 giving 685 revs. per mile with the existing Bentley axle ratio of 4.1 to 1 and 810 revs. per mile with an axle of 5:1 which is, we imagine, the lowest ratio that is likely to be required.
