I send herewith 6 No.2 size instruction sheets dealing with the setting of the cross steering tube to get the front wheels of the car in track with the rear wheels, and also a note re the verifying of the squareness and the straightness of the rear axle. Will Mr. Bailey please fill in the dimension which is missing on page 2 and also the F drawing number on page 4 and the F piece number on page 5. Also will you please note I have referred on page 5 to the instruction sheet LeC.544. This is my number which will be altered when the directions contained on LeC.544 are made up on instruction sheets. I thought however that you would be sending a print of LeC.544 to Mr. Platford and Capt. Burt, so have referred to it on these instructions. Will you please take photostat prints off the enclosed sheets and send to Mr. Platford and Capt. Burt to save time. As soon as possible they should be traced and made up in the form of a book similar to the "K" lists and sent to Mr. Platford and Capt. Burt. Before making up in the form of a book it would be as well to ask Mr. Hives to verify that the instructions as given contain all the points which it is necessary to mention. Please note that the sheets are out of order and that in tracing, the blank spaces should be filled up which will (Contd.) R.R.
