Objects.

(1) To promote the science and practice of engineering as applied to the design construction and application of radio or television apparatus for use with all forms of road or rail vehicles, water or air craft.

(2) To establish and maintain the professional status of individuals wholly or partially engaged in or devoted to the technical design and development of Auto Radio or its technical application for use on road or-rail vehicles, water or air craft.

(3) To found a standard of concept and knowledge of the subject of Auto Radio design construction and application, and to initiate and carry through any scheme or organize any movement likely to be useful to the membership of the Institution and to the community at large in relation thereto.

(4) To hold meetings of an educational and instructive nature and to promulgate degrees of examination in the technique of car radio design construction and application.

Applications are invited from individuals interested in becoming associated with the Institution on completion of formation and should be addressed to The Secretary to Mr. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} John Chesney, 38 Hugh Street, London, S.W.1., and should provide name, address and brief details of past, present or intended association with the technicalities of Auto Radio.
