Request for a replacement 5HP D.C. motor for the Experimental Electrical Department's dynamo rigs.

One of the motors driving our rigs is now inadequate for the job due to the fact that our dynamo outputs have increased considerably in the last six months due to the addition of radio sets etc. This motor will only deal with a dynamo of approximately 200 watts whereas we are anxious to get up to 300 watts on the dynamo. We therefore require this motor exchanging for a 5HP. D.C. motor similar to those used on the other rigs we have. Will you please arrange to supply us with a replacement motor as soon as possible as we have an urgent programme for dynamo work on at the moment which involves the continuous use of all the rigs.
