RE BRAKE TESTS.

Attached herewith is a report on the
analysis of the 20 H.P. footbrake.

The brake was fixed to the back end of
a Froude water brake; driving the brake was a 20 H.P.
engine unit. It was arranged that we could vary the
load on the brake and measure the torque. The results
are comparative.

We are improving the test tackle.
