To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from EFC. c. SFT{Mr Swift}/Mr. Brock. X5763do EFCl/T13.1.27. 20 HP. DYNAMO No.155 EX CHASSIS 52-S-7 This machine has failed and the solder run due to (1) A good deal too much retard of the control brush 113°, in place of 122°. (2) The negative brush spring fouls brush holder bolt. In addition to the above, all the brushes have been inserted the wrong way round, but as these are of the old type without the bevel tops, this would not be of very much consequence. Pieces of fibre have been inserted between the brush-springs and the brushes which may have assisted in the incorrect running. We return the machine to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} EFC. | ||
