20 H.P. DYNAMO.

In order to cure noise it is proposed to try the effect of closing the armature slots with steel wedges in a similar manner to the use of wooden wedges to retain coils and it is proposed to try this on a 29 straight slot armature already built and which is particularly noisy.

We send you herewith prints of -
D.51535 - which shews what we require doing to the armature and
D.51536 - the wedges required.

Will you please put this in hand.

We are sending the armature, loaned to us by EFC. to RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} for this modification to be carried out.
