BJ. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X9770 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG25. 5.23. S E C R E T. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} A.{Mr Adams} C. We found on making enquiries, that the case of E.A.C. parts which were sent into the Stores on the 5th.inst. was still lying there and had not been despatched to Lillie Hall. Verbal instructions were given to the Store Keeper that in the case of E.A.C. parts, the usual procedure of all parts being inspected and packed by the Stores would not be carried out - the Expl: Dept: would send the cases in, packed and labelled,(as was done with this case) and the Stores would see it was despatched. The reason given for this package being overlooked was that owing to it being a special job and out of the ordinary routine, the information with regard to it was not clearly understood. Arrangements have been made that this cannot occur again. The case has been sent off today. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
