S/W Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X180.3729 C11/C13.10.20. Hooper Landaulet Body for Experimental Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/LG11.10.20. ---------- Mr. Spinney reports as follows:- "While at Hoopers today I inspected this body and found that it required only a slight alteration to make it suitable for dash board 1" higher mentioned on Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/LG111020. They have not yet panelled the scuttle. I suggest it would be worth while altering the front of the car as mentioned by Derby, because the higher we can bring the scuttle, the better for practically all types of bodies. Hooper are keen to make the alteration for appearance's sake. I suggest that Derby should send a sketch showing the exact dimensions of the new dash board and slope of bonnet, so that there shall be no mistake in making the modification."
