Dear Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer},

Many thanks for your letter of the 17th October enclosing the memo from your Material Section with regard to the specification of valve seat material which I sent you.

There was a slight mistake in our letter to you, and we omitted to mention that tin, to about 5.0%, was also added. This, however, does not account for the discrepancy, and I have written to France asking our man over there to confirm the specification.

With kind regards,

Yours sincerely,
