OIL FILLER PLUG FOR GEAR BOX.
Origin.
To facilitate filling up with oil.
Experimental Test Report.
A boss is added to the gear box cover for the filler plug. The existing boss for the present vent fitting is done away with.
Road Test Report.
Fitted to 6.EX car - run 2000 miles.
Fitted to 7-CA car - run 300 miles.
Fitted as standard to 40/50 HP. cars at Springfield.
