Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. Robotham.

We are duly in receipt of your favor dated the 4th instant, reference as above as also of the MGA.{M. G. Aspley}20100 which you have returned with the same.

We have carefully read the contents of your letter and everything would appear to be in order now, and we are putting the gear in hand forthwith.

As requested, we are sending herewith duplicate copy of our MGA.{M. G. Aspley}20100 with the modifications stated by you included, and the gear will be made strictly to this drawing.

As regards the length of central steering tube, i.e. Inner Column, we propose to leave this 50" long measuring from the centre line of the rockershaft to the top of the inner column, as per the dimension put on the drawing by your goodselves.

As regards the pitch of the Cam, we duly note you are agreeable to our making this 1.1/32" and are therefore proceeding accordingly.

We have also included on our drawing the size of the bore through the inner column, which, as you will see, measures .773" plus or minus .003".
