To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X8005 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/LG1 8.10.26. Attached herewith are :- X8796 (1) Sketches for a rubber bush mounting for the front of the engine. (2) Sketch for increasing the flexibility of the fabric mounting rear engine feet. (3) Adaptor for driving the Watford magneto off the test rig. Will you please make the necessary pieces as soon as possible. With reference to the rear engine fabric mounting, we wonder whether you could obtain from Messrs. Hardy 2 fabric discs of the same dimensions as those already used but containing more rubber and less canvas, as those we are at present about to use are rather stiffer than we think desirable.
