W/S. CWB. c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Y9920 BY6/W.5.3.25. 40/50HP. CHASSIS. "U" SERIES. FABRIC COUPLING. ---------------- Referring to your memo' CWB12/LH.{Mr Haworth}3.3.25, the fabric coupling, as such, for durability is being at the present moment tested out in France, and has already 5,000 miles to its credit. In regard to trying out its value in diminishing body booms, a chassis will be valueless, as we must have a booming body, hence our proposal to try it out on 68-AU. Unless we can have a body which has the booming fault, we cannot demonstrate that the fabric coupling will, or will not, be as effective as the spring damped coupling. BY.{R.W.
