MESSRS ROLLS ROYCE LTD.

ADAMANT SPECIAL LUBRICANT FOR SPLINE PUNCHING OPERATION.

Originally we used pure White Lead diluted with boiled Linseed Oil to a consistency of creamy paste, but due to trouble with the Home Office we had to discontinue, and after numbers of experiments, arrived at a leadless paste that gives us results nearly equal to the pure White Lead.

This leadless paste is supplied to us by Messrs. Pinchin Johnson Ltd, and is know as their Grade 'T'.

Pinchin Johnson will recognise this, especially if you say "as supplied to the Adamant".
