TELEPHONE: GLADSTONE 2201-2-3 Successors to GALLAY RADIATOR CO LTD AUTOMOBILE, AVIATION and GENERAL SHEET METAL WORK, ETC. Specialists in Light Alloys, Radiators, Tanks, etc. YOUR Ref.__________________ OUR Ref.___________________ VULCAN WORKS, EDGWARE ROAD, CRICKLEWOOD, N.W.2. MECHANICAL TRANSPORT. GALLAY NON-ERODIBLE RADIATOR CORE PATENT NO 398,110 The special features are as follows:- 1. Erosion and Corrosion. Owing to the fact that the core (or "block") is completely immersed in special tin alloy, a decided advantage is obtained over 'film' types of radiators, particularly for export to countries where the only water obtainable contains deleterious matter. For example, in parts of Africa, Australia, etc. it is impossible to guarantee the film type of radiator core for any length of time owing to erosion and corrosion, apart from comparative structural weakness. 2. Efficiency. A considerably higher degree of efficiency is obtained than with any other type, and we have definite data as to this effect which can be confirmed by Messrs. Morris, Ford, Citroen, Lagonda, Sunbeam, Chrysler, Dodge, etc. and other leading makers, with regard to the radiators supplied to them constructed under this system. 3. Waterflow. A direct flow is obtained without interruption or irregularity. We can demonstrate by our R.A.F type gravity test apparatus that 50 gallons will flow through the average 12 h.p. (1500 c.c) capacity radiator in less than one minute. 4. Rigidity. The nature of construction renders the core absolutely rigid and practically indestructible so that the radiator case does not have to be designed to hold the core together. 5. Guarantee. We guarantee all Gallay type cores for at least Two years both with regard to efficiency and durability. ......ooo...... | ||
