Watford E.O.6. Magnetos

We have on numerous occasions had to take exception to the quality of Magnetos from the point of view principally of noise.

We have been to some trouble from time to time, to establish a standard of comparative quietness. We appreciate the difficulties of the Manufacturers in producing Magnetos of this type, but I feel compelled to say that we receive magnetos from the makers which have passed through the works test which it is a waste of time and money to put on engines.

We have at the moment three machines which have been handed to us for replacement on Production Chassis, two of them are very unsatisfactory, one is alright. I should like you to hear these three machines on our Test Rig.
