To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} x200a Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.1/JH. 21.1.36. Spring loaded anti-rattle shutters for 6-B-IV. We have observed in the mockup for this scheme in the shop, that the end shutter supporting bearings are not located very firmly owing to the fact that the end bearing supporting lugs on the support, plate, are not equidistant from the end bearing. This should be corrected by making new bearing suppert plates with equal spacing of the supporting lugs and special brackets on the radiator shell. These plates are easily made, and it should be possible to fit them to the radiador for 6-B-IV without delaying the car. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std. | ||
