PEREGRINE GEARBOX

We send herewith N. scheme 3518 which shews modifications to the gearbox to enable .250 bolts to be used instead of 1.BA studs to secure the nose at the rear of the box for the support of the engine and gearbox unit.

This scheme should be used in conjunction with that sent recently by DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} for the intermediate shaft for shortening the propeller shaft.
