I am quite in agreement with the practice of using 895 x 150 tyres on the rear wheels and 895 x 135 on the front wheels, and carrying as spares, either two wheels fitted with 895 x 150 or one wheel of each kind. I also prefer where possible, to use rubber non-skids instead of steel studded tyres.

It was thought that 895 x 150 were simpler, and we had not found any definite disadvantages of the larger tyres on the front wheels. One can see that 135 for these would be less expensive, and may have advantages in cost, weight, and ease of steering.

I am at present using tyres as above on 7-CA. and prefer the smaller tyres on the front wheels.
