Dear Sirs, We beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 4th instant, reference as above, and note that you are prepared to test two of our 36 inverted carburettters on your 20 H.P. six cylinder engine. We have therefore started the design of a pipe to suit these carburettters. You will find enclosed herewith a drawing of a suggested induction pipe to accomodate our 36 D.U.P. carburetter. In order to miss the steering column and to retain the ease of removing the float chamber, which is a feature of our "U" carburettters, we have had to turn the carburetter so that the float chamber opens towards the engine, but we do not think that from a performance point of view, this should be -contd.- | ||
