Complaint of Thermometer Gauge Tube Breaking - 25 HP.

You asked me to obtain the position when these tubes broke.

It appears that the breakage is not consistent. The old type broke at the end of the bulb. Others have got behind the rear cylinder (during cleaning operations fitters have broken them dismantling). It is obvious that there is nothing you can do at the moment.

If I can get any definite evidence I will do so.
