We are returning the B.60 cylinder head which has been used for combustion chamber development EXS.1384 and EXS.1758 for the following :- (1) Deepening of sparking plugs recesses to bring plug out of pocket to face of the combustion chamber to EXS.1869. (2) Fitting of special guides and springs EB.5053/5 and EB.5106/7/8. The above is urgent as we wish to try it out on the test bed on B.80 No.3. unit and then if satisfactory be fitted to 3.B.50. for 30,000 miles test. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H.
