Thank you for your Cr{Mr Cra???ster / Mr Chichester}/Go.5/AD.23.1.39. we are glad you were able to stop the despatch of the wheels and are awaiting the arrival of the four special 'silent' tyres. We are anxious to run tests on these in France in parallel with our tests here so will you please negotiate for a further set of four. We understand that these have to be produced specially so Michelins may possibly raise objections to supplying a second set. We should also like a set of four tyres and tubes of the normal Pilote design similar to the six we have in England. Ours are not marked but we believe the size is 225 x 400. They should be fitted to the four wheels which you have at Levallois for test on S.S.V. in France. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux} | ||
