X1918b. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} BY10/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 19. 5. 24. 20 HP. SPARKING PLUGS. By a mistake on the part of the Robinhood Company, I discover that we have got 1500 of the K.1.R. type of K.L.G. plug actually in the Stores at the moment. The facts of the case are that we ordered 1500 plugs some month or so ago, which were to be of the old type. The Order Office specified the usual piece number and ordered up the plugs. Later, in accordance with my memo BY2/H.15.5.24. the Order Office made enquiries for prices and delivery of 500 K.1.R. type, and were informed by return that the K.L.G. had already delivered 1500 of these against our Order No. so and so. The object of writing this memo is to ascertain the attitude of Hsl and EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} Personally, I think we should return a 1000 of the 1500, hold the 500 for EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}'s use as discussed in BY2/H.15.5.24, and place an order for 1000 of the old type. Possibly Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} and myself can get together and settle the issue, as I wish to straighten the matter out without fail this afternoon. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} [Signature] | ||
