31st August, 1936.

Messrs. New-Hudson Ltd.,
Icknield Street,
Birmingham 18.

For the attention of Mr. Fraser.

Dear Sirs,

We very much regret having had to postpone your visit here owing to the failure of an experimental type big end bearing on the car to which the Girling brakes are fitted. At the moment we are unable to fix another date as we are short of the latest type of bearing metal, and the car is held up.

As soon as we know definitely when the car will be running again, we will communicate with you.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
