Urgent need to fit Tele-Hartfords pending the standardization of an equivalent device.

| -2- When at W. last week I discussed the matter from the technical point of view with Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}, and they both agreed that having regard to it being likely that at least 12 months would elapse before any R.R. equivalent device would be standardised, we should be well advised to fit the Tele-Hartfords forthwith, in other words they had no technical criticism of the proposition to make, whatever.
