1369 Me. from Sft.{Mr Swift} cc Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} cc H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} cc Bye Sft{Mr Swift}4/BH.28.2.34. With reference to memo' Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}4/T26.1.34, dealing with Bn{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}'s complaint of the absence of rigidity at the attachment of the wings, we have made up one set of Bentley Wing Stays with the addition of an outer pressing which strengthens the base of the Wing Stays at the point of attachment to the Frame Sides. By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} and E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} have both seen one set on a chassis in the Erecting Bay, and are of the opinion that this should be an improvement, and they suggested that a set should be handed to Exp. Dept. for test and report, on one of the completed cars. We are therefore handing over a set to you to-day. Sft.{Mr Swift} file | ||
