R3/M8.10.27.

SINCE THE CONFERENCE WITH YOU IN LONDON
THE SITUATION HAS CHANGED OWING TO THE BROKEN CRANK-CHAMBER, AND WHAT WE MUST HAVE IN THE FINAL SPORTS CAR, INCLUDING THE ALTERATIONS TO THE CRANKCHAMBER AS WELL AS CATEGORY (1).

58" TRACK HAS CREPT INTO CATEGORY (1) IN ERROR.

WE MUST NOT MAKE AN OLD SET OF LONGER RODS:
IT IS TOO EXPENSIVE AND CONFUSING.

WE MUST BE THOROUGH EVEN WITH SOME DELAY:
IT WILL BE LESS COSTLY, AND THE MOST PROFITABLE.

R.{Sir Henry Royce}
