X4425 hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG. 25th. Jan. 1922. Messrs. The Lodge Sparking Plug Co.Ltd., R U G B Y. Dear Sirs, We have returned to you today, 6 special sparking plugs Z27 which you kindly sent to us for test but which have failed after a short run on an engine. We should be very pleased if you could make up some more plugs for us to test. The plug we had very great success with was the old "Bosch" 4-point plug - I dare say you will remember this plug; it was one in which the centre electrode was sawn both ways so as to form four points, the centre electrode was also easily detachable which made it easy to clean. The trouble we had with them was that the points did tend to break off. We should be pleased if you could let us have some more plugs as soon as possible as we are anxious to get the plug question settled. Thanking you in anticipation. Yours faithfully, | ||
