We can easily remove the guide instead of the present design of bellows, but can we make bellows to be within .005" of the correct free length ? It appears to me that this is possible, but I should like your confirmation.

For the moment we will continue with the present design and see if better inspection on your side and really good packing casings will overcome the troubles. I should be grateful if you would let me know when the first correct packing box is due in our Works.

When putting in hand your new gauges it might be worth considering that we intend to dispense with the bellows guide.

I indeed hope that these efforts to get less rejects will be satisfactory and thus enable us to build up an impression that you can produce accurate bellows not requiring still greater increased limits.
