With reference to the particulars asked for by Paris in order to obtain a French license for 7-Goshawk-ll. Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} when he was in France had to pay the French Tax on 6-Goshawk-ll because it had over-run the time allotted on the Laissez Passer. Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} found that by going to the R.A.C. Agent, it was quite unnecessary to give all the particulars asked for by Paris. The whole matter was settled from the Trip-tique papers; it was done in two or three minutes.

We therefore think it is quite unnecessary to give Paris all the particulars they ask for.

Will you please therefore instruct Paris that we wish the registration of 7-Goshawk-ll as regards the French Tax to be carried out in the same way as it was done on 6-Goshawk-ll.

Maddocks who is with 7-Goshawk-ll was with Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} when this was done and knows all details.

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}
