X 1328 Exptl. Dept. Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Std.8/KW. 4th December, 1935. The British Thermostat Co.Ltd., Windmill Lane, Sunbury, Middlesex. For the attention of Mr. Martin-Hurst. Dear Sirs, We understand from our Mr. Leslie that at some time in the past he was communicating with you, with a view to getting you to make up a Calorstat to our Drawing E.80893, for us to test. This proposal was apparently dropped, but we are now definitely interested in it. We are sending you one of our Calorstats to E.80893, together with the drawing of same, and should like you to produce an identical Calorstat for us to test, and to quote us your price for supplying such Calorstats in quantities of approximately forty per week. The writer received Mr. Martin-Hurst's message via Mr. Cowdray, and will be pleased to hear further from him on the subject of the proposed bonnet louvre thermostat. The writer will be in a position shortly to give some actual measured figures for the force to operate these louvres. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. Att: E.80893. | ||
