X5770 X5960 Attached herewith is a list giving the alter- ations made to this car since you ran it last year. We consider there is a great improvement now in the running of the car. The amount of vibration is greatly reduced, and in this respect we consider it compares favourably with the latest 25 HP. cars we are producing. Although it is a different unit to what was in the car before, the essential alterations which have been made are - Rubber engine mounting, and Low inertia type damper in the crankshaft. The performance and the power curve is slightly better than the latest production 25 HP. We are preparing another 'Japan' unit taking advantage of the modified [handwritten: Cam] crankshaft and higher compression, and will have this fitted to a car shortly. We also have an engine running with a small twin carburetter which we will be able to test on the road. HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
