The weight of the Starter Gear complete is 60 lbs. 3 ozs. and on top of that we estimate that wiring would weigh 7 lbs. 2. The advantage of the split bottom leaf to the rear springs is they give lateral flexibility. This is necessary, because if one wheel is raised higher than the other, the springs have to be deflected laterally. I should recommend that you would get more complete information from Mr. Walker who has just got out a patent specification for this arrangement. EH. | ||
