Re Lanchester. X4HU

Dear Mr. Wormald,

I understand by wire from Mr. Mercer that the Lanchester will not be ready until Thursday. I am leaving Ealing for Kingsdown to-morrow and I am afraid it will be necessary for it to be sent all the way to the South coa-st.{Capt. P. R. Strong}

My address there is "Highfield", Kingsdown, Nr. Deal. The best way to get there by road is, I think, thro' Dover. Take the Dover to Deal road and turn to the right just after passing the turning for St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} Margaret's (which is also on the right). The turning I refer to for Kingsdown is, I believe, about one to one and a half miles past the St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} Margaret's turning and before you get to Walmer. In going this way Highfield is almost the first house you come to.

Will you kindly advise Mr. DeLooze and the Mailing Dept. that all letters for me during the 9 weeks commencing July 29th should be sent to Kingsdown. Will you also instruct a good set of tools including two Jacks and some rope and a wire rope sling to be sent with the car as we shall want to pull the box down most probably.

Yours faithfully,

(Sgd.) T.B.Barrington.
