We are very interested in your note OY13/R11327 re. 61-EF the English Phantom.
Naturally we are very disappointed that the car will only do 85 m.p.h. because on all the normal touring Phantoms we have tried our lap speed on Brooklands comes out at 76 m.p.h.
If you could get a full report from The General Motors of the performance of this car, we would be very glad to have it as we might conceivably satisfy some of our customers by shewing it to them. Certainly it would seem advisable for us to get a certificate of merit for speed for the Sports Phantom when it finally appears, by letting The General Motors run it in the invigorating atmosphere of their proving ground.
Seriously, can you get a copy of the General Motors report for us?
