K-S PETROL GAUGES. X8460

When the Hobson Petrol Gauge expert was here yesterday, we found a car running about in the Test with the petrol gauge on. The rear end of the air line on this gauge was coupled up to the tank and the front end was free.

As we pointed out in our Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/LG24.9.28 (copy of which we attach) this is the most effective way of putting the gauge out of action.

We should be obliged if you would keep an eye on further gauges as they come through to see that this is avoided.

If you would like to run a test on one or two gauges in your Dept. to satisfy yourself that the device is a working proposition, we should be very pleased to give you any information you required on the subject.
