RE SCINTILLA MAGNETO - TYPE AM6.

During our last visit to Mr. Royce we showed to him the Swiss made Magneto. He agreed that they were excellent as regards workmanship but considered that the design involved too much novelty to be of any use to us.
We have considered fixing one ofthese magnetos on to a car, and find that they are not very suitable for our engine, The fact of the high tension distributor being close to the driving end of the magneto means that the wires would come very near to the exhaust box. If we moved the Magneto back so that the high tension distributor came in the same position as the "Watford"and the "Bosch", it would then be very awkward to operate the contact breaker. The machines at present have the levers for the contact breaker on the wrong side.

In view of the difficulties and of Mr. Royce's dedision we suggest that we return these machines to the makers immediately. Will you please let us know whether you are in agreement.
