Dear Sirs, We have pleasure to confirm the visit of the undersigned when the Model 3339 Double Beam Oscillograph was demonstrated on the primary and secondary of the ignition coil circuits, as also with the use of the Rothermel-Brush Piezo-electric Vibration Pick-up Device. Should you intend ordering such an instrument as a result of the demonstration we wish to remind you that the earliest possible delivery would be early in March. The Model 3339 Oscillograph costs £30 and either of the Pick-up Devices cost £7 10s. 0d. If it is intended to use the instrument for general investigations of pressures, vibrations, rate of change of pressures, velocities, movements, displacements, etc., this can be done conveniently using the Cossor-Dodds Pressure Unit or other capacity unit similar to those described to you verbally in conjunction with the Model 3352 Cossor-Dodds Pre-amplifier at £27 10s. 0d. Leaflets describing this instrument and its accessories are enclosed. The solution of the above problems by means of this equipment would involve the use of a suitable Contact Breaker, such as our own Model 3350 or else one of your own make, in conjunction with the Time Base of the instrument operated in the manner When replying please quote reference | ||
