C. to H. {Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} X4119 Hm {Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} 4/W29.5.25. Chassis No. 77-A-0 - G. {Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Vaughan Morgan. Your BJ1/H28.5.25. We agree that when the car came to us smells in the body were very bad, chiefly due to faulty carburation - this was corrected. Also, a smoke test actually showed that there were spaces in the floorboards through which the smoke passed into the body - these were stopped. As this car was handed over to the owner's chauffeur on the 23rd. inst., we would suggest that we find out from the owner whether the work carried out on the car has effected an improvement. We would mention that when the driver was here we took him on a test run, and he informed us that "he could smell nothing". Hm. {Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} | ||
