Bentley Cylinder Head - B.19.KU. (Handwritten) SWDL{Len H. Swindell} Mileage 7,730, Came in for an R.10. We have had a very bad case of the exhaust valves eating into the seatings. No.1, 3, 5 and 6, the seats had been hammered away to a depth of approx. .020. It is the first case of bad hammering I have seen in service. We are of the opinion that it has been run for long periods on the valve bounce period. What is your opinion please? Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W.
