Crankcase and Bearings.

Drawing of crankcase not yet issued, which is to include the following features :-

(a) Mods. to suit integral cylinder block - LeC.5778.
(b) Facings to suit large A.C. petrol pump - LeC.5776.
(c) Deletion of external oil pressure filter with consequent move over of the gallery pipe and deletion of the cross oil pipe.

Facings on crankcase to suit inclusion of A.C. bye-pass filter.

A mock-up of this is shown on LeC.5775.

(d) Mods. as requested by RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} regarding production of case (RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}1/LS.12.8.37.)

(e) Bore of tappet guides at an inclination of 0°-45' as instructed to the D.O. in our memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}11/R.10.8.37.
